In 18 years of hard work, Airport Engineering Services
has become a successful business from humble beginnings.

Graham McBride has developed a company from 2 staff members to the current level of 10 with future expansion a certainty. A company of which he still heads.

The vision behind this growth is today the same as it was at the start, to offer an honest engineering service to the airport and surrounding communities.

Over the years the company has seen staff changes, environment changes and an enormous expansion in the freight and airport industry which has been instrumental in Airport Engineering’s development and growth.

What started in a small compact workshop has now seen the move into a privately owned, modern, purpose built manufacturing and maintenance premises of which they are very proud of. They did this because they recognized the need to offer a wider range of engineering skills to the region and to operate in a more streamlined and cost effective way.

They offer services from day to day repairs and maintenance to warehouse’s, freighting equipment and transport companies to far more specialized work as in the servicing and maintenance of Air NZ and AIAL Air Bridges. To date Graham has acquired a vast amount of knowledge and is regarded in the industry as a leading figure in all aspects of these Air Bridges.

Airport Engineering Services strive to employ and train quality staff to enable themselves to continue the service level that their customers have grown to depend on, and the workmanship that is expected from any customer and industry focused company with goals of success.

Where the future will head we can only wonder but some things we know are certain.
